Donghuamen Night Market

One can find a row of unusual food stalls. An array of Chinese food delicacies are on display with people bustling around to experience some new tastes. Items such as sheep’s particular parts, offal soup, deep fried crickets, centipedes, silkworms, scorpions and lizards are available to eat on a stick. There are also the more widely recognized Western foods such as spring rolls, dumplings, crab cakes, and candy fruit. All stalls display their food selections in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English. Food is displayed raw and can be deep fried in a large Wok upon request.

Our Philosophy Is To Provide
Quality Over Quantity

“Virtuous people often revenge themselves for the constraints to which they submit by the boredom which they inspire.”  ―  Confucius

Let go of love and hate
“When love and hate are both absent, everything becomes clear and undisguised. Make the slightest distinction, however, and heaven and earth are set infinitely apart. If you wish to see the truth, then hold no opinions for or against anything. To set up what you like against what you dislike is the disease of the mind.”
― Hsin Hsin Ming

Providing the Tools You Need For Creative Living

“The expectations of life depend upon diligence; the mechanic that would perfect his work must first sharpen his tools.”  Confucius

Be like the Tao
“Those who know don’t talk. Those who talk don’t know. Close your mouth, block off your senses, blunt your sharpness, untie your knots, soften your glare, settle your dust. This is the primal identity. Be like the Tao. It can’t be approached or withdrawn from, benefited or harmed, honored or brought into disgrace. It gives itself up continually. That is why it endures.”
― Lao Tzu
