How To Win a Lover

If you want to a win lover,
Have her think a lots of you,
You must walk like Maggie Campbell,
And must know just what to do.

First you want your hair cut stylish
That makes you look out of sight.
Get a stove-pipe hat that fits you;
Have your shoes all shined up right.

Buy a broadcloth suit that cost you
Forty dollars, more or less;
Have a six-inch standing collar,
And a watch chain on your vest.

Oh, if your feet is fixed for traveling,
Get your cane be on your way,
And as you are drawing nearer,
Think of what to say.

Take her in your Harrison buggy,
Drive her out a mile or two,
Tell her that you want to marry,
And she’ll think a lots of you.
